One of our most popular requests this summer has been for costume design, although we can’t reveal all the ins and outs we can tell you that they include costumes for a music group, uniforms for a sci-fi movie and t-shirts for a Netflix series. In the meantime, we thought we would reflect on some of our archive favorites, the first on our list has to be ‘that’ Inbetweeners t-shirt. We receive plenty of unusual requests however this has to be up there, along with the array of slogan t-shirts we designed For Benidorm’s Kenneth, who’s crude slogan t-shirts have become synonymous with his outlandish character.
Last year we designed the logo worn by Zlatan Ibrahimovic throughout Visa’s global marketing campaign for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. We created a unique crest, drawing inspiration from traditional royal crests and Zlatan’s self-proclaimed ‘Lion’ nickname.
Creating logo’s is a big part of what we do, for the National Geographic’s TV series Mars we designed the Lukrum Industries logo. Creating a Logo for T.V and Film follows the same process as creating a logo for the real world only with a faster turn around!
On Saturday our latest crop of graphic props were showcased on ‘Inside No.9’s’ live Halloween special. The award winning series famed for it’s dark humour, produced a unique episode full of surprising twists and thrills.
The episode begins with Pemberton’s character returning home to Flat No.9. A number of Acme props and graphics were used in this sequence including all of the food packaging. Bread packaging is often a prop that art directors are wary of using; however we have mastered the art of creating a realistic prop that would not look out of place at your local supermarket.
Along with all the food packaging we made a number of signs; everything from the brushed aluminium signage, to the large vinyl lettering.
Acme Graphics are pleased to introduce you to our latest piece of kit, the Graphtec Cutting Plotter. Traditional Vinyl cutters are only able to cut one vinyl colour, however our new Graphtec cutter is able to cut complex and full coloured designs.
It looks like we will be seeing a lot of Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the 2018 FIFA World Cup approaches, not on the pitch but as the global face of Visa’s marketing campaign for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
This week we saw the first glimpse of Visa’s global advertising campaign with a cheeky ad starring the Swedish striker and featuring a logo crest designed by Acme Graphics. Playing on his world famous ego, Acme created Zlatan his very own ‘royal’ crest.
In the words of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s ‘Don’t worry world, the lion cannot miss the hunt’.
The ‘royal’ crest design was one of many items that Acme were asked to create for the production, including digital painting, illustration and graphics for vehicle wrapping.
Acme Graphics designed and produced signage for various locations for the shoot of Mitchell & Webb’s “Back. Here are a few screenshot of cut vinyl and designed logos for a bakery, food factory, DIY store, funeral home, cafe and a pub. All spotted in these screenshots taken from the first series of the comedy.
